Updates
Spent the week in Spain, working by day and relaxing in the sunshine where I can. We had a rental car breakdown which was fun and a day of storms, but on the whole itโs lovely to be in the warmth.
I leaned into AI a little bit this week, and experimented with writing some code through a GPT engine. I used Claude, and managed to add a couple of features to the site which I think are really exciting. Iโve added a page that pulls a random journal prompt, and one that pulls a random icebreaker as well as a page that lists all of the free stuff links that I have shared in a filterable list.
It has been a while since I did any coding, and so using Claude to help develop was a fantastic boost, learning how to ask the right questions and explain exactly what I wanted was an interesting exercise. I have more ideas to follow here.
I also finished Moral Ambition by Rutger Bregman, my thoughts are here.
Media
Not much TV time but we did finish 'Four Seasons' which was a lot of fun. I'd recommend it, and Iโm pleased to see that it is coming back for a second season.
Recommended Music
My recommended listen this week is the brand new album from a Stuff favourite, Turin Brakes. Spacehopper is their tenth studio album, and is the usual high standard of fun, acoustic pop.
Iโm looking forward to seeing Turin Brakes back in Dublin later this year, but I suspect this will be on heavy rotation until then!
Highly Recommended.
