Updates

Spent the week in Spain, working by day and relaxing in the sunshine where I can. We had a rental car breakdown which was fun and a day of storms, but on the whole itโ€™s lovely to be in the warmth.

I leaned into AI a little bit this week, and experimented with writing some code through a GPT engine. I used Claude, and managed to add a couple of features to the site which I think are really exciting. Iโ€™ve added a page that pulls a random journal prompt, and one that pulls a random icebreaker as well as a page that lists all of the free stuff links that I have shared in a filterable list.

It has been a while since I did any coding, and so using Claude to help develop was a fantastic boost, learning how to ask the right questions and explain exactly what I wanted was an interesting exercise. I have more ideas to follow here.

I also finished Moral Ambition by Rutger Bregman, my thoughts are here.

Media

Not much TV time but we did finish 'Four Seasons' which was a lot of fun. I'd recommend it, and Iโ€™m pleased to see that it is coming back for a second season.

My recommended listen this week is the brand new album from a Stuff favourite, Turin Brakes. Spacehopper is their tenth studio album, and is the usual high standard of fun, acoustic pop.

Iโ€™m looking forward to seeing Turin Brakes back in Dublin later this year, but I suspect this will be on heavy rotation until then!

Highly Recommended.
