Updates
A much better week, meant I could focus on some interesting announcements at work for me and my team, as well as the final parts of course work for my coaching diploma which finishes this weekend.
I also got back into my daily reading practice and finished Minority Rule by Ash Sarkar. I've put some notes together and a short review here.
Next week, we're off for a bit of sunshine and relaxation - so I'm looking forward to that.
Movies
Watched a couple of films last week, and one that we really enjoyed was 'The Last Showgirl' starring Pamela Anderson as a Vegas dancer coping with the end of her career. Beautiful performances from Anderson and Jamie Lee Curtis.
Recommended Music
My recommended listen this week is Tall Tales, the new collaboration between producer/DJ Mark Pritchard, and Thom York of Radiohead/The Smile.
Its a cool album, well constructed beats and samples with Yorkes distinctive vocals over the top. In some cases the music feels ambient and chilled, and then switches gears to something altogether darker and driven.
I highly recommend a listen to this.
