#60 - From Spain

#60 - From Spain

Updates

I missed a week - travelling back from Norway meant I was offline for a day - so here I am now in Spain for a couple of weeks.

Norway was fantastic - we saw the Northern Lights (above) and explored the fjord around Tromsø. In the second half of the week my son and I rented a cabin to the South of Tromsø and spent a quite few days reading and relaxing. It was a great trip, and spending time with my son was a real bonus.

We flew home on Sunday, And then flew down to Spain to continue my recharge from work.

Most other projects are on hold while I‘m on this trip and away from the ‘command hub’!

Reading. Grime Kids by DJ Target - telling the story of the origin of Grime music. Only a short way in, but an entertaining read so far.

I’ve been listening to this album non-stop for the last couple of weeks and I don’t think that I will stop soon.

Trying Times is the new album from James Blake, and this one feels like a real masterpiece. It’s his first independent album, and has a slightly more raw and urgent edge than previous albums.

Throughout are some superb vocals, and excellent production. I’m convinced this will be on a lot of end-of-year charts.

Highly recommended.
