#54 - From Dublin
Updates
Another week of multiple storms in Dublin - barely a dry moment!
As I'd hoped, worked was a bit quiter this week and I managed to spend some good time working on projects. The website for our rental apartment in Spain is finished and went live - and I managed a couple of evenings work on some other side quests.
I also spent a fair amount of time reading about AI tools and ethics, trying to make sure that my saw is sharpened as we start working on more AI related stuff at work.
The Online quiz team had a nice win on Wednesday and we currently sit top of the table.
Still Reading. Every One Still Here by Liadan Ní Chuinn - an excellent book of Short Stories from an Irish Author.
Recommended Music
I've been trying to listen to more new music this week, and one that appeared my my list was the new offering from Searows entitled 'Death in the Business of Whaling'.
Searows is the alter-ego of Alex Duckhart, a singer-songwriter from Portland and this is their second album.
It's a beautiful collection of songs that sounds excellent whilst working or reading. The vocals are gentle, accompanied by a laidback, slowcore folk band.
I've enjoyed this multiple times this week, and I think you will too.
Highly Recommended
