#48 - From Dublin
Updates
I spent this week in San Francisco for som work meetings, so I'm writing this with more than a trace of jet-lag in the system. My soul is catching up with my body.
The travel was good, no major snags and I was well looked after on the flights. My biggest takeaway from San Francisco is that almost every available outdoor advertising spot seems to be talking about an AI product or service.
There is no other game in town.
Now, back home in Dublin for a last week in the office before the Christmas break!
Reading. Nick Cleggs 'How to fix the Internet'. No progress.
Recommended Music
Whilst travelling, I tend to fall into cycles of listening to playlists that remind me of home, but one album I carried with me on this trip was the new Death and Vanilla album.
'Whistle and I'll come to you' is the latest from this Swedish band who use a variety of vintage and analog instruments coupled with electronics to produce a lovely mellow, chilled sound.
I'm really enjoying this one - a super relaxed vibe for winter evenings.
Highly recommended.
