#47 - From Dublin
Updates
I'm not going lie friend, it has been a rough couple of weeks.
I picked up some kind of stomach bug about 10 days ago, and only today (Sunday) am I starting to get over things.
I missed a gig I really wanted to get to, I missed the Christmas party at work and I missed some days at work - but finally this week I could work from home and try and catch up with a few things.
I watched an extraordinary amount of daytime TV, mainly things I didn't have to concentrate on and slept a lot - which is unusual these days. I have found it all a bit depressing, and I'm working to get my mojo back.
This is the last time we shall speak of this.
Reading. Nick Cleggs 'How to fix the Internet'. No progress.
Recommended Music
I haven't listened to a lot of new music this week, but one album that I did focus on was the new release from Sega Bodega.
'I Created The Universe So That Life Could Create a Language So Complex, Just To Say How Much I love You' is a huge title, for a beautiful album of ambient electronica that mostly matches up to its grandiose naming.
Feature Vashti Bunyan, Mayak Alkhateri and Lucinda Chau among the collaborations included, this is a fantastic album that is well worth your time.
Highly recommended.
