#44 - From Dublin
Updates
Back to a tricky week at work, but we got through and made it to the weekend. I'm home alone for a couple of days this weekend, so have spent some time relaxing, reading and got to see some live music.
My Online Quiz League team got relegated this week after a tough season, but we go again after the Christmas break, and I'm sure we'll bounce back.

Live Music
Last night, went to Whelans in Dublin, to see the magnificent Turin Brakes, who played a fantastic show. This tour is in support of their 10th album, and I've loved them all along the way.
They played a great selection from across the catalogue and a sold out Whelans was in good voice.

Recommended Music
I think that I might be late to the party with this one. Curtain Twitcher released Breathe, Breathe and Breathe again in 2024, but it only just appeared on my radar.
It's a lovely long collection of ambient, synth driven tracks with repeating loops and themes that develop organically into some great sounds.
I listened to this all the way through on Friday, and then hit repeat and did it again.
Highly recommended.
Note - I am using these Odesli embedded links for music recommendations on my site which allow you to choose your streaming platform and also find the artist links for vinyl purchases etc
