#42 - From Italy

Updates

Writing this from a train between Bologna and Venice as we take a short break and experience a little bit of Northern Italy.

Bologna has been lovely, a city of cuisine. We had some great food, including a meal at the famous Trattoria Da Me.

Next stop, Venice - and we’re lucky enough to be there as the Venice Photo Lab is in town, so expecting to see some great art.

Reading: Not much reading going on whilst we travel.

Recommended Music

Another week of superb releases, but the highlight for me was the new album from a favourite artiste.

Headache and Vegyn have combined on ‘Thank you for Almost Everything’, another collection of tracks bringing together smooth electronica with an almost AI driven vocal performance.

The spoken word/poetic lyrics have a weird ‘uncanny’ feeling to them and the stories put me in mind of Chris Morris creations from the 90’s

Another excellent release. Highly recommended.
