A disrupted week, the light cold I thought I had last weekend turned into a bit more of a issue than I thought, and I had to take rare day off work.

Spending the weekend with some friends in Cork, so a shorter weeknote than usual.

Reading: Confessions of an Irish Rebel by Brendan Behan.

Recommended Music

My musical recommendation this week is INSOMNIA, not by Faithless but by Japanese composer Takahiro Kido. Kido is a member of Japanese soundtrack artists Anoice and this collection doesn't stray too far.

INSOMNIA tries to put the feeling of being awake into music, with neo-classical and ambient sounds. It's a beautiful album that deserves a listen on some great headphones.

Highly recommended.
