#26 - From Dublin

Updates

Home in Dublin for the week, nice to get back into a routine after weeks of travel. I'm off to New York next week, so it doesn't last long!

I spent some time redesigning and rebuilding the website, so if you're reading this - hopefully you'll like the new look!

Live

Went to see Nine Inch Nails at the 3Arena in Dublin last Sunday, the first night of the 'Peel it Back' tour.

It was an excellent show, with a dual stage setup, brilliant visual, a strong DJ (Boys Noize) playing support, fierce sound and some face peeling tunes. The production quality was excellent, and tune selection was strong from across the catalogue.

Superb show all round.

My recommendation this week is the new album from Biosphere, a Norwegian musician from Tromsø with a great catalogue of ambient and electronica.

The Way of Time is the new album, with 8 tracks of beautiful, lush electronics overlaid with sampled vocals from  a nove called The Time Of Man, sampling Joan Lorring’s voice from the 1951 radio play adaptation.

Its a lovely listen that adds to an excellent catalogue of work.

Highly Recommended.
