### 🔈 Stuff to Listen to...

![Galen & Paul announce debut album 'Can We Do Tomorrow Another Day?' - Rolling Stone UK](https://www.rollingstone.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2023/02/galen-and-paul-announce-album.jpg)

🎧 This week, my aural treat is the new album by Galen and Paul, a collboration between Paul Simonon of the Clash and Galen Ayers.

The story seems to be that Simonon was in Mallorca during lock down, and began writing tunes with Ayers as well as busking in Palma. The collected output comes together on the album 'Can We Do Tomorrow Another Day?'

I really like the sounds of these duets, a sort of world-weary look at the surroundings and making some simple songs. There is some gentle lampooning of the Brits on the Costa Del... and a great song about gentrification called Lonely Town.

It's really simple, and a lot of fun - and highly recommend this one.
